July 2012 Festival Marquee
The Big Sing Choir's first outing. Backings on Walking in Memphis and Could it Be Magic plus a great original arrangement of Michael Jackson I Just Can't Stop Loving You.
Helen paid tribute to some of her favourite female singers - Carol King, Kate Bush, Cher, Karen Carpenter among them.
The evening ended with the whole marquee singing along to You've Gotta Friend. It doesn't get much better than this.

We were thrilled to have Operatunity winner Denise Leigh as our special guest, even more so to have the opportunity to sing Rutter's Pie Jesu with her. Helen Monks was fabulous too in Could It Be Magic with great Big Sing support.. The choir alsogot to perform Gary Barlow's Sing plus a specially written composition by Jeanette Healey. A memorable evening all round.

June 24th 2014 Statham Lodge

Without doubt the most ambitious project to date.
The gig title took its name from the Jamie Cullum song - immaculately performed by our special guest the million hit Youtube wonder Jayme Gutierrez. The theme was all that is great about British music from folk to, most recently, Sting's new musical play The Last Ship.
In the first half the choir gave us "She's Leaving Home" and also featured on Leo Sayer's Can't Stop Loving You"
- The show closed memorably with four set piece numbers from The Last Ship featuring fiddlers and accordion in addition to the standard band plus The Big Sing Choir, plus Statham Juniors, plus Six Shades of Blue. Astonishing !
Lymm Dickensian Day
Dec 13th 2014
Outdoors and at Lymm Methodist Church
This pre-Christmas performance was by popular request from the choir members themselves. It was actually the first time that the BIG SING choir have appeared in their own right without support from other musicians or soloists. A lovely experience and a terrific acoustic in Lymm Methodist church.
Thanks to Tim Evans for these videos and to choirleader and arranger Susan Healey and musical director Michael Healey for licking us into shape.
Beverley Craven in Concert
June 23rd 2015
Statham Lodge Hotel
Another great night and our first performance with a celebrity name from the world of popular music. A huge amount of work went behind the scenes ahead of the night, agreeing arrangements with Beverley , creating backing CDs for the choir and of course rehearsing. We had the additional challenge of having only one hour to rehearse with Beverly on the night. And guess what .. it all worked thanks to the consummate professionalism of our choir leader Susan Healey and Music Director Michael Healey,. Another night to remember.
This one was such a big deal that it gets its own web page CLICK HERE to see more pics and read more

Lymm Dickensian Day 2016
Eagle Brow Methodist
Saturday Dec 10th

The weather was kind which meant that the biggest "Big Sing" were able to perform both in the street and then in the beautiful acoustic of the church which was packed to the door and beyond for our 30 minute performance. The set included timeless classics like "ding-dong merrily on high " as well as medleys of older carols. We reprised last year's showcase number - Carol of the Bells and introduced a new arrangement of the Little Drummer Boy -with shades of Ravel's Bolero ..

Many thanks to Tracy Carmichael-Ridgers and her partner Tim for providing us with their video of large sections of the concert.
